Patients: How to order and pay for test kits
Test kits are ordered by patients online, pre-paid and sent directly to them
Step 1
The practitioner gives the patient a signed request form during their consultation
Step 2
Patients order their test kit online
Step 3
Patient enters their name, address and payment details for the test
Step 4
Healthscope Functional Pathology will dispatch the test kit and full instructions immediately
Step 5
The patient collects the specimen and this is posted or couriered to ARL Pathology from anywhere in Australia or overseas. The patient must ensure the signed request form is included with their test kit for return to the laboratory
Step 6
Specimens are analysed and the results sent directly to practitioners. Test results are available to practitioners online , or can be downloaded electronically. They can also be sent to the practitioner by mail or fax
