The Healthscope Functional Pathology Team is dedicated to providing exceptional service of the highest standard to all of our customers.
The team of experienced Pathologists and Medical Scientists, including Cytologists, Haematologists, Microbiologists, Biochemists and Analytical Chemists offer a diversity of skills that enables us to perform an extensive range of analytical and diagnostic services.

The Technical Team

At Healthscope Functional Pathology we are committed to providing superior technical support to our practitioners. We have experienced Technical Consultants available for practitioners to discuss appropriate test selection, interpretation of test results, individual cases and related clinical issues. The Technical Team is committed to assisting practitioners in their clinical understanding and management for each patient result.

Stephanie Philbrick

Business Development Manager

Stephanie joined ARL Functional Pathology in February 2009 in the new role of Business Development Manager and oversees the Technical Support and Customer Service teams. Stephanie works to build ARL's business through continually improving ARL's service provision to practitioners and patients. Originally a medical scientist, Stephanie has worked in business development and communications within public, private and government settings within the health industry.

Jacqui Evans

Technical Manager

Jacqui Evans has worked as a Technical Consultant at ARL Functional Pathology for the past six years. During this time, she has developed a wealth of knowledge about laboratory testing for complementary medicine practitioners and has been involved in development and growth from a technical aspect. Jacqui now manages the technical team and runs educational programmes such as clinical workshops and discussion groups for complementary medicine practitioners. Jacqui gained clinical experience working in the United Kingdom as a naturopath for several years. Jacqui is committed to the field of laboratory testing for complementary medicine practitioners and providing excellent technical support.

Hannah Williams

Senior Technical Advisor

Hannah has been with ARL Functional Pathology since July 2009. Her role is to assist practitioners in test selection and interpretation of results, as well as other technical matters. Hannah is a Naturopath and Herbalist and has been involved in the complementary health industry for several years. Her experience includes clinical practice as well as managing a busy dispensary and multi-disciplinary natural health practice in Auckland, New Zealand. Hannah has a strong interest in research and commitment to further education in complementary medicine.

Nicola Reid

Technical Consultant

Nicola has worked as a Technical Consultant at ARL Functional Pathology for the past four and a half years. Her role includes research and writing technical material, technical support, practitioner education and marketing. Nicola has worked as a Naturopathic practitioner, seminar presenter, lecturer and clinical supervisor in the complementary medicine industry for the past 17 years and recently completed a Master of Public Health. She has a previous background in journalism and public relations. Nicola is committed to a high standard of research and education for complementary health practitioners.
