Whether you are new or experienced in using Functional Pathology testing, Healthscope Functional Pathology's Practitioner Discussion Workshops provide a unique opportunity to explore the fundamentals of functional pathology test selection and interpretation. We invite you to update your knowledge, consider specific case studies and discuss the interpretation of test results under the guidance of experienced Functional Medicine Practitioner, Dr Mona Kaur.
Workshop Format:
Our Practitioner Discussion Workshops are run in small groups which allows for questions, discussion, the sharing of case material and the opportunity to enhance knowledge and confidence in the selection and interpretation of Functional Pathology tests and their results.
Workshop Topics:
In her presentation Dr Kaur will present examples including a gut-related case study and another case study highlighting the relationship between hormone imbalance and adrenal function. If you are not familiar with the interpretation of a Complete Digestive Stool Analysis (CDSA) and Salivary hormone analysis, this workshop is a must for you to attend.
Importantly, the workshops also explore the value Functional Pathology testing can add to your practice by assisting in the identification of the underlying causes of illness to improve case outcomes and overall management.

Dr Mona Kaur MBBS, Dip Ac, MACNEM
Dr Mona Kaur is a graduate of the University of Adelaide Medical School and has experience in general practice, acupuncture, nutritional and environmental medicine and mind-body medicine. She is also DAN (Defeat Autism Now!) certified.
Dr Kaur has 13 years of Integrative General Practice experience in rural and metropolitan Victoria, Western Australia and Adelaide. Since 2007, she has operated the Tara Wholistic Health Centre in the Adelaide Hills.
Her special interests include hormones and fertility, thyroid and adrenal disorders, gut, metabolic and biochemical disorders and allergies.
Dr Kaur is an engaging and dynamic speaker who will provide important insights into Functional Pathology tests that can be put to immediate clinical use within your practice.
